Virtual Private Network(VPN) is a type of network technology that allows communication between 2 computers or groups of computers via a public channel, usually the internet.

Not only it provides security... Here in Philippines, some of us are using VPNs to mask our IP addresses and use the internet even if we don't pay our ISPs... :P

ReplyDeleteThis article says all correct. I have been using a vpn service called AshVPN and it is pretty good and cheaper. I do not recommend free vpn. Free means there will be a catch.

ReplyDeleteI've been using a VPN called SumRando for a while now and I really like it. I think the anonymous surfing bit is by far the most important to me -- it really creeps me out when I click something on amazon and subsequently see ads for similar products for the next month.
